Remember, God sees everything
We know that God is watching our every move but sometimes we need to be reminded of that, writes Leanne Mallet.
In Psalm 139 we are reminded that God knows us inside and out. We cannot hide from him. You may think your spouse or your parents know you better than anyone, but God knows you even more than they do ‒ he created you!
For some time now, there’s a post I’ve been seeing across social media, and it often comes to my mind in different situations. It simply says this: “I saw that” – God.
We know God is all-knowing, but sometimes we need the reminder that he also SEES. He doesn’t see just the big moments in our lives or the moments everyone else does ‒ he sees our daily choices, our decisions, our motives, our reactions and the things we go through. He sees what people say to us, how we are treated, and how we respond.
Years ago, many of us wore bracelets with the letters WWJD printed on them, meaning: What Would Jesus Do? Their purpose was to remind us that when faced with situations or decisions we should pause and ask ourselves: What would Jesus do in this situation? How would Jesus approach this?
We all have to make choices daily ‒ choices where the outcomes really matter. It may even become a battle between what we want to do versus what we know is the right thing to do.
