'Common good' space for women

Women from across church and society are finding fresh inspiration, deeper connections and plenty to think about at The Sacred Company.

Sponsored and hosted by Regents Theological College, The Sacred Company is a new initiative bringing together women from a wide range of backgrounds who serve in ministry or vocational roles.

Organised by women, for women, it gathers those with a shared interest in theology, theological reflection and strengthening the local church – whether they serve in formal ministry or in the wider community.

It is a time for joyful reflection – a space to listen, learn from one another and strengthen those ‘sacred’ bonds.

Women come from a variety of denominational backgrounds and serve in churches, communities and local and global leadership roles.

Research projects

The Sacred Company is organised by Michelle Nunn, Principal of Regents Theological College and a member of Elim’s National Leadership Team.

The first gathering was piloted during Regents’ centenary year in 2025, creating space for women to share their research interests ‘for the common good’.

Michelle says: “My aim for The Sacred Company is to gather women together so they can hear from, and reflect with, other women who have undertaken theological research around a specific issue.

“There are so many women among us who are exploring incredible research projects, whether for academic or ministry purposes, but few people get to hear or be challenged by their conclusions.

“As we gather, we encourage one another and make new connections. After the weekend together, we share a sense of having a sacred canopy of loving prayer and support over us before stepping back into our God-given missions.”
