Curry enters courts with praise

Stephen Curry, American NBA superstar and four-time champion, has never been shy about the source of his strength – his Christian faith.

From his early days, Curry has leaned into Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 

This verse has been his anchor, appearing on his shoes and in his heart. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he shared, “His strength is revealed in my surrender. Every challenge is an opportunity to trust him more deeply.”

Curry’s commitment to glorifying God is evident both on and off the court. He once said, “My purpose is to glorify God in everything that I do. And so when I step on the floor, people should see God through my actions.” 

This mindset has shaped his approach to basketball and life, guiding him through triumphs and challenges alike.

And now he’s gone one better, quoting a key Bible verse that helps others follow Christ: “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
