Arsenal’s long-awaited Premier League triumph sparked wild celebrations across north London.

But for a growing number of the club’s players, the glory has become a public platform for their Christian faith.

The Gunners sealed their first league title in 22 years this month under manager Mikel Arteta, ending years of painful near-misses and igniting emotional scenes at the Emirates Stadium.

Fans danced in the streets, players lifted the trophy in front of jubilant crowds, and social media exploded with images of the champions celebrating.

Yet alongside the champagne and medals, another message emerged loud and clear – “Glory to God.” A group of Arsenal stars affectionately dubbed the ‘Bible Brothers’ by supporters openly celebrated their faith after the title victory.

Players including Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Jesus, Eberechi Eze, Miles Lewis-Skelly and teenager Max Dowman posed together with the Premier League trophy while making the sign of the cross.

Defender Cristian Mosquera wore a shirt declaring: “Made for God, by His glory,” while Ecuador international Piero Hincapié held up a top carrying the words: “I belong to Jesus.” The scenes quickly spread online, with Christian fans praising the squad for boldly speaking about faith at the peak of sporting success.

Several of the players regularly speak about prayer, Bible reading and trusting God throughout the season.

England winger Bukayo Saka has previously spoken publicly about his Christian faith and his habit of reading the Bible before bed.

Arsenal’s title win marks one of the biggest moments in the club’s modern history.

Arteta’s side finished ahead of long-time rivals Manchester City after years of rebuilding and disappointment.

Supporters described the moment as “surreal”.
