Huge vision for landmark CfaN year

An ambitious, year-long campaign of 50 African crusades is under way to celebrate 50 years of Christ for all Nations (CfaN).

The missions organisation founded by evangelist Reinhard Bonnke started the mammoth effort in Cape Town, South Africa, in February, fitting with its founder’s oft-stated dream: “From Cape Town to Cairo, Africa shall be saved!”

The anniversary-year plans represent a record-breaking gospel campaign.

CfaN UK director Luke Cartwright (inset, left, picture above) said: “We’re following Reinhard’s original vision, which was to see the whole of Africa washed with the blood of Jesus.”

Daniel Kolenda (inset, right, picture above) took over from Bonnke as CEO in 2017 – by which time CfaN had recorded 75 million salvations. He had a new vision to increase the rate of salvations.

Luke explained: “Daniel called it the ‘Decade of Double Harvest’, whereby instead of just having Reinhard or himself on a platform, we would raise up and multiply evangelists, then work with them, churches, businesses and other ministries to see 150 million documented salvation decisions by 2030.

“Daniel is very strategic and he recognises that if he can replicate something of himself or Reinhard in others, we could see much bigger things happen.”
