Milestone year for CeCe Winans

THE numbers behind CeCe Winans’ career are amazing – but the US gospel singer is focusing on one figure: 60!

As she turned to the big birthday she told CBN: “Sixty – I can’t believe it. But it’s here. And I am excited about it. I am so excited. 

“[My plans are] looking, sitting in front of an ocean on the beach, chilling out with my husband.”

She deserves some rest after a hectic year of touring, a women’s conference, new album and a performance of a worship song on American Idol which went viral.

The 24-city tour of the US sold out and helped her album, More Than This, enter the billboard chart at number one.

“We had a wonderful tour, 24 cities,” she told CBN. “Before we started, I got on social media and I said I need everybody to pray for me. And they did. But it was so powerful. Every night was spectacular to me.”
