God’s nature is boundless
You ask Elim experts the questions. This month, it’s Pastor Andrew Fadoju of Elim Christian Fellowship, Worthing.
What’s your Bible verse for 2026?
Ephesians 3:20 says: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (NLT).
This verse is a huge encouragement for 2026.
We hold a deep and rightful belief in God’s miraculous power ‒ what many of us simply call miracles.
While Scripture overflows with miraculous accounts, I sometimes remind people that when God ‘does a miracle’, he’s really just acting in accordance with his own boundless nature.
What seems miraculous to us is God being himself.
As we look ahead, Ephesians 3:20 is a powerful challenge.
It urges us to stop viewing our life, work, family, and ministry through the narrow lens of human limitation and instead to see them from God’s perspective.
His mighty power is at work within us – and that power is for his glory.
This verse isn’t just a hopeful sentiment; it’s a profound promise: God longs to do infinitely more than we can dare to ask or imagine.
