It's been a year of waiting for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk – and now the Ukraine forward has to be patient to see if his nation makes it to Euro 24.
Ukraine, in the same qualifying group as Italy and a dominant England team, finished third to earn play-off games on March 21 and, potentially, March 26.
Mudryk had already been waiting to find his best form and make an impact at Chelsea after his £88 million move last January.
The 23-year-old Christian struggled to find any consistency, but has finally nailed down a regular starting berth under a new manager and found some form.
Mudryk has been vocal about his beliefs across social media, and has faith-based tattoos across his body.
Next to his heart is inked: “Dear God, If today I lose my hope, please remind me that your plans are better than my dreams.”
